Become an Indigenous Birth Support Worker and provide support to pregnant women on a regular basis.

Have you supported a pregnant mom during labour or while giving birth? Have you helped to support a new mom and her family after childbirth? Would you like to learn and do more?

Take this course and you can become an Indigenous Birth Support worker, imparting traditional knowledge with modern practices and information.

SHARE YOUR TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE ON CHILDBIRTH

We also invite Elders/Knowledge Keepers who have teachings about Indigenous Birthing Traditions to attend and share with the group.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Keeping our community members safe and healthy is our top priority. This in-person event will require participants to have RAPID COVID-19 tests provided by ATC, as well as follow all protocols as outlined at the start of the event. This may include physical distancing and wearing a mask. 

This event is subject to change based on the need for community safety during COVID-19. Date changes and/or changes to a virtual platform will be communicated to those who have registered in advance.

All costs associated with this training will be covered by ATC, including travel, accommodations, meals, and Rapid COVID-19 Tests.
