Iron Chef Challenge

At the start of February, the ATC Boarding Homes students' attended their monthly team-building event.

This month it was the Iron Chef Challenge, in partnership with Keyano College. Students, boarding home parents, and ATC staff participated in this exciting cooking challenge. They made leek soup, parmesan risotto, chicken pesto, and caramelized apples. The teams learned essential skills for working together and enjoyed a wonderful dinner together.

ATC's Boarding Homes program supports rural ATC First Nations students who want to attend high school and achieve their dreams. Boarding homes offer students a home near their school with people and families who care and will nurture their dreams of success!

These monthly team-building events are an essential part of the ATC Boarding Homes program, keeping students who are experiencing similar situations of being away from their home communities while working hard to achieve their dreams. That connection creates life-long relationships and adds a support network for mental health and overall success.
