SAFETY & SURVIVAL TRAINING
Participate in hands-on, land-based survival and safety training!
Training will include:
Wilderness Readiness
Wildlife Awareness
Wilderness Emergency Communications
Boating Safety Awareness
Cold Water Safety Awareness
Standard Trapping Course
This course is currently being offered in 3 communities for First Nation, Métis, and Inuit residents between the ages of 14-29.
November 14-20, 2022: Anzac, Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, and Chipewyan Prairie First Nation
November 21-27, 2022: Fort McKay
January 9-15, 2023: Fort McMurray
