LAND-BASED
SAFETY & SURVIVAL TRAINING

Participate in hands-on, land-based survival and safety training!

Training will include:

  • Wilderness Readiness

  • Wildlife Awareness

  • Wilderness Emergency Communications

  • Boating Safety Awareness

  • Cold Water Safety Awareness

  • Standard Trapping Course

This course is currently being offered in 3 communities for First Nation, Métis, and Inuit residents between the ages of 14-29.

  • November 14-20, 2022: Anzac, Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, and Chipewyan Prairie First Nation

  • November 21-27, 2022: Fort McKay

  • January 9-15, 2023: Fort McMurray
