About Our Organization
ATC is an organization that provides essential services to 5 First Nations within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB). You can learn more about the communities we serve by visiting the Our Communities area of this site.
We are made up of a Board of Directors, a CEO who oversees 6 active departments and 30+ employees in 3 locations.
Our main office is in Fort McMurray, with local Child & Family Services offices in Edmonton and Fort Chipewyan.

Athabasca Tribal Council serves our Nations by providing relevant and innovative programs and services that enrich the well-being, health, and prosperity of our people. We are committed to ensuring the protection of our Inherent rights, our Treaty Rights, and our Traditional Territories. While respecting the autonomy of each Nation, our strength is our unity.
