BIOGRAPHY
Mo Brings Plenty
Mo Brings Plenty helps craft authentic stories packed with drama as an actor and consultant/producer alongside Taylor Sheridan on several of his highly rated television dramas, 1883, 1923, the recently released Lawman: Bass Reeves, and his highlyrated juggernaut, Yellowstone.
As an enrolled member of the Lakota Nation (born on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation), Mo has long been at the forefront of movements advocating for social, economic, and political change and the preservation of language and culture for all tribal
communities.
As a sought-after diverse keynote, Mo has spoken before native and non-native businesses such as Genentech, the Tractor Supply Company, the National Congress of American Indians, and the National Center for American Indian Enterprise, and has made several appearances at the United States Capital to speak on topics that include the dark history behind the boarding school era, missing and murdered Indigenous crises, the plight of American wild horses, and other critically important issues that affect Indian Country.
Mo Brings Plenty is a man who navigates between two worlds - the mainstream and the American Indian. He has set his goals towards promoting cross-cultural understanding while focusing on what unites us rather than what divides us. In Indian Country, Mo is an advocate who seeks to bring together individuals and communities, mending the brokenness and division that significantly undermines tribal solidarity. He also aims to create positive relationships and alliances between Indian Country and people, causes, organizations, and businesses entities of the mainstream. He does it by supporting the common denominators of both worlds by focusing on unity that is based on purpose and solidarity.
