ATC communities are facing a crisis. Since the start of 2023, at least 30 people across all ATC First Nations have been lost by overdose, suicide or the results of self-harm.
We grieve with all the families that have experienced loss in the past months – this is an unprecedented crisis, and we will do everything in our power to support you. So join us on Thursday, September 7 at 10 a.m. ATC and the Chiefs will be hosting a news conference.

If anyone attending in-person feels they need a quiet space to reflect, private rooms will be available, and support staff will be on hand to speak with, if you need.Question and Answer period from attendees, both in-person and online.
In-person community members and media will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Community members watching on Facebook or YouTube will be able to ask questions in the comments, and they will be asked as time allows.
