Fort Chipewyan Youth Cultural Camp
Open to all Fort Chipewyan Children ages 6-12
Celebrate Culture, Tradition, and Unity Through ACTIVITIES, and have a memorable summer with this 2-day youth camp.
Children will learn the protocol of smudging, how to prepare their own Bannock dough to cook on a stick over an open fire, create their own keepsake bracelet, and express their artistic side by painting rocks, which will be placed in the community as a lasting project. Additionally, there will be a Hip Hop Jigging instructor both days.
Parents are welcome to participate.
Transportation is available both days with pick-up and drop off at Mamawi Hall.
