Are you interested in working as a labourer?
Athabasca Tribal Council’s Kickstart Your Career Training Program might be just the fit for you. This three-week program will provide participants with safety tickets, construction basics and skid steer training. Participants will receive PPE, Local 92 Initiation Fee including three-month union due fees and completion bonus.

Flagging
Confined Space
Fire Watch
Gas Detection
Respiratory Protective Equipment
H2S Alive
Skid Steer
Construction Basics
Common Safety Orientation
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be Indigenous (First Nation, Métis or Inuit)
Be at least 18 years of age
Living in the Wood Buffalo Region
Pass drug & alcohol test
Driver’s License is not required but is considered an asset
