REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Kickstart Your Career

Are you interested in working as a labourer? 

Athabasca Tribal Council’s Kickstart Your Career Training Program might be just the fit for you. This 11-day program will provide participants with tickets and skid steer training. Participants will receive PPE, Local 92 Initiation Fee including three month union due fees and completion bonus.

11 Day Program | October 17-27, 2022

Registration Deadline is October 14.

Training includes:

  • Air Purifying Respirator

  • Wildlife Awareness

  • Flagging

  • Confined Space

  • Fire Watch

  • Gas Detection

  • Respiratory Protective Equipment

  • H2S Alive

  • Skid Steer

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be Indigenous (First Nation, Métis or Inuit)

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Living in the Wood Buffalo Region

  • Pass drug & alcohol test

  • Driver’s License is not required but is considered an asset
