Better understand and learn how to support someone who is struggling. Self-harm is when someone hurts themself on the outside to cope with internal pain and distress. It’s scary, but there are ways to help.

It’s important to look beyond the injuries to see what’s really going on – this is the first step in addressing the underlying reason a person is self-harming so they can heal on the inside and outside.
