Local Employers are ready to hire you once you successfully complete the course!

Get your Alberta Security License

This course is offered to all First Nations, Inuit and Métis people living in Fort McMurray, and Indigenous Fort Chipewyan Evacuees.

This 40-hour online course will prepare you for a career as a Security Guard.

IN-PERSON classes are held at Keyano College, see ATC’s Events page for dates.

ONLINE training will require you to have access to a computer and will require self-motivation to complete tasks on your own. This program will prepare you for a career as a Security Guard. 

Clients who successfully complete the online program will be able to apply for a job with Garda World working on-site or in town. Some requirements include: 

  • Grade 12 Diploma or GED 

  • Class “5” Driver’s License 

  • 3-5 Year Driver’s Abstract
